In Adel Abad prison in Shiraz, 7 prisoners were executed on Sunday and Tuesday. The reason of the executions and the identity of the victims are unknown and there is not any official declaration from the Iranian government about those executions.
There were similar other executions in the past few days in other Iranian cities like Qazvin, Mashhad, Urmia and etc.
From 9th to 26th April, 98 prisoners have been executed by the Iranian government, which makes an average of six per day.
Since Hassan Rohani has become President, executions have increased, and they were condemned by UN and its experts.
The Iranian government fears to collapse. In order to create fear and prevent the uprising of the Iranian people, it proceeds to these executions.
